NBA 75

The team was tasked with building a mini-site for the NBA's 75th year anniversary to generate excitement for the season and the long-awaited NBA 75 list. Our approach was to incorporate the sentiment of the NBA Lane campaign seamlessly, centering nostalgia and dynamic storytelling. When it came to writing copy for a brand that millions of enthusiasts would see, I had to bring my A game (mainly because prior to this moment all I knew about the NBA was Micheal Jordan, hoop, ball, and tall).

 

My mission was to connect authentically and find moments to delight throughout the experience. 80% of my work was immersing myself in the culture, legends, rivalries, and language. Of course I used my powers for evil at the local trivia nights. The catch: we didn't get the list until it was announced to the world. The biggest lift of it all was writing unique career-celebrating headlines for over 100 of the greatest ballers to ever step foot on the paint.
